Dan graduated in 1969 from Fordham University in New York. He joined BSI in 1977 after spending 8 years in various Systems Engineering positions with Western Electric Co., division of AT&T, and Major Computer Corp., a Facilities Management company located in Nassau County. He is past president of the Mattituck Lions Club and was chairman of their annual Strawberry Festival and County Fair. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow of the Lions Internationa Foundation and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, NY.

John graduated in 1973 from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. Before joining BSI in 1980, he had a career in the scientific publishing field as a managing editior for Ecological Analysts, Inc. in Towson, MD and the American Institute of Physics in Stony Brook, NY. John is a founding member of Eastbound Freight Bluegrass, a traditional bluegrass band performing throughout Long Island and the New York Metropolitan area for over 25 years. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the 1731 Jamesport Meeting House and is Chairman of the Business Council of the Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead, NY.

Glenn has been with BSI since 1986. He attended Suffolk County Community College and was active in the business during his college years. He started in the file room and worked through most roles in the agency including Customer Service, Technology Administration, Personnel Management, as well as managing the satellite office in Sag Harbor. In addition to being the Chief Operations Officer, he continues in his role in IT management with the firm. Glenn is actively involved, along with his wife, in the Autism Speaks Organization, as well as the Young Autistic Program.

Sharon started in the insurance industry in 1971 and joined BSI in 1998 as the Office Manager, a position she still holds. She holds Insurance licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health. Outside of BSI, she has been a member of the Bellport Beach Property Owners Association since 1974.

Jocelyn has been working in the insurance industry and has held a NYS Property & Casualty Brokers license since 1997. She held positions with State Farm and Farm Family before joining BSI in January 2008 as a Customer Service Agent in Personal Lines.

Donna has been involved in the insurance industry for 22 years and has been a licensed Property & Casualty Broker for 12 years. She is currently a Customer Service Agent in BSI's Mattituck office, specializing in Personal Lines.

After attending St. John's University, Carol joined the Hartford Insurance Company in 1973. She held various jobs while with The Hartford. She started in rating and was promoted to underwriting and became a Production Underwriter before she left in 1988 and joined BSI. At BSI she is Director of the Commercial Lines Department and a Sales Agent. Outside of BSI, she is a member of the East End Livestock & Horsemen's Association and currently the Corresponding Secretary. She is also a part of the Basket Weavers Guild of Eastern Long Island - currently Co-President, and the Pastoral Advisory Council of St. Patrick's RC Church.

Laura has worked for BSI for over seven years in various positions, including Customer Service support for both Personal & Commercial Lines, and Receptionist. She received her NYS Property & Casualty licence in 2010. Outside of BSI, she is a registered member of the Long Island Chapter of ABATE of New York.

Denise became involved in the insurance industry in 2001 when she went to work for the Farm Family Insurance Company. She joined BSI in April 2006 and received her NYS Property & Casualty license in 2007. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Danielle has 10 years experience in customer service and over 4 years in the insurance industry. She became a licensed Property and Casualty Broker in 2009. She is currently working as a Customer Service Agent in BSI's Mattituck office, where she specializes in Commercial Lines. Outside of insurance, she is a member of the East End Livestock & Horsemen's Association, the Nassau/Suffolk Landscape Gardeners Association and the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Lee has had two careers. She graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a Bachelors and CW Post College with a Masters degree before becoming a Teacher, College Instructor, and then an Elementary School Principal. When she left education she joined MassMutual as a Career Agent and became a Financial Advisor, Certified Long Term Care Advisor and an Investment Advisor. She maintains her ties with MassMutual and works with BSI in all forms of Financial Planning, Life Insurance, and Health Insurance. Her goal is to help people have a better life thru planning.

Lynn has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. She spent 17 years working for Travelers Insurance Company, joining them in 1979. When she left Travelers, she came to work at BSI and has been here for over 13 years. Her current reponsibilities are managing BSI's operations in Sag Harbor and on Shelter Island.

Jennifer has worked with BSI for 2 years, the first year as Receptionist and the following year in Customer Service support. Outside of work, she is a member of the Greenport Fire Department and as an EMT with the Rescue Squad. She is currently 1st Lieutenant of the Phoenix Hook and Ladder Co. #5.
